Bio of S.M. Rudro Rahman
S. M. Rudro Rahman is a development and industry professional with extensive experience in skills development, sustainability, ESG, and industrial transformation across Bangladesh’s manufacturing sector. As the Director of Rezia Management Consulting Limited and Founder of the Institute of Industrial Learning (IIL), he has been leading initiatives focused on industrial skills, workplace sustainability, circular economy, and management systems implementation across the RMG, textile, leather, and footwear sectors. Over the years, he has worked with more than 500 factories through consultancy, training, auditing, and workforce development programmes, collaborating with leading development partners including GIZ, Swisscontact, BRAC], and international brands and foundations. Prior to his current leadership roles, he led training and field operations at Shimmy Technologies, managed large-scale skills development operations at BRAC, and worked closely with industry stakeholders through BKMEA. His work combines practical factory-level experience with strategic expertise in ESG education, workforce capacity building, social compliance, ISO management systems, curriculum design, and sustainable industrial development.
